Here is a timeline to help you do everything that needs to be done for your assignment
Part 1: Hand a list of at least 4 sources
Due: 3/3
Research the composer you have been assigned. This research can include any/all of the following sources, but only one may be an internet source.
· Books from the public library
· Books from Mrs. Broberg’s library (may be checked out for one night at a time only)
· Newspaper or magazine articles
· Articles from reputable online journals (Wikipedia is not an online journal)
· Reputable internet sources. YOU MUST GET THE SOURCE APPROVED BY MRS. BROBERG. A good place to start is composersdatebook.publicradio.org.
Part 2: Answer the questions on the guidance sheet.
Due: 3/10
Using the sources that you compiled, answer all of the questions on the guidance sheet in complete sentences with the source title and page number for where you found each answer.
Part 3: Hand in a one-page biography of your composer
Due: 3/18
Using the sources you complied and your guidance sheet, write the story of your composer’s life in complete sentences and proper grammar. NO FIRST OR SECOND PERSONAL PRONOUNS!!!!!!!!
Part 4: Hand in the rough draft
Due: 3/25
Using all of the assignments thus far and your sources, create your two page, double spaced, typed or nicely handwritten with title composer essay.
Part 5: Hand in the final draft
Due: 4/1 (MUST BE IN BEFORE SPRING BREAK)
